Richard BranoffM.D., FAAFP, FACSM
Dr. Branoff has over 30 year’s experience in Family Medicine. He is board certified in both Family Practice and Sports Medicine. He received his M.D. from Georgetown University and later went on to become Program Director of the Halifax Health Family Medicine Residency Program, helping train hundreds of family doctors. He received his Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine in 1997 and was one of the founders of the Halifax Health Sports Medicine Fellowship. He has served as a team physician for the Bethune Cookman University Wildcats and holds an appointment as Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Florida State University College of Medicine, where he remains an active teacher of medical students and medical residents when he is not seeing his private patients at Ormond Medical Center.
Christy L DavisM.D.
Dr. Christy Davis has been practicing medicine since receiving her medical degree for Indiana university school of medicine in June of 1996. She did her residency at Michigan state's university's Kalamazoo center for medical studies, specializing in family practice. She is board certified by the American board of medicine. Over the last twenty years, she has worked in various fields of family centered care, most recently as medical director, of Metcare of DeLand.
Ellen BranoffMSN, ARNP - Nurse Practitioner
Ellen is a board certified family nurse practitioner and has worked at Ormond Medical Center since 2004. Ellen makes prevention, wellness and patient education priorities. She believes strongly in teaching patients about their health and encouraging them to make healthy lifestyle choices. She graduated from Sinai Hospital School of Nursing in Baltimore in 1975 and returned to school at University of Central Florida to complete her Masters Degree in Nursing in 2003.
Michael J. RodriguezD.C. Chiropractic Physician / Acupuncturist
Dr. Michael Rodriguez is a practicing chiropractic physician in the Ormond Beach area since 1978. He is currently licensed to practice chiropractic and acupuncture in the State of Florida. He received his degree as Doctor of Chiropractic in 1978 from the New York Chiropractic College. He became certified in acupuncture in 1999. Dr. Rodriguez is a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association and the Volusia/Flagler Chiropractic Association.
Gregory A. WalshD.C. Chiropractic Physician / Acupuncturist
With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Walsh is a respected member of our community, belonging to Volusia / Flagler Chiropractic Associan and the Florida Chiropractic Association. Dr. Walsh has been with Ormond Medical Center since April of 2001. Dr. Walsh received his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Life College of Chiropractiv in Marietta, GA. He is certified in Acupuncture and has studied Physilogical Therapeutics.
Stephanie Sanchez - Nurse Practitioner
Stephanie Sanchez has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2010 and has been in the nursing field for over 19 years. She began her career as a certified nursing assistant in the hospital over 20 years ago. Once becoming a Registered Nurse, she worked many years in medical-surgical hospital units including Multi-System and Neuro-Surgical Intensive Care Units caring for patients bedside. She became the lead nursing educator for these units developing many protocols and procedures still used today as best practices throughout the Florida Hospital Systems. She is board certified with the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-BC), specializing in treating brief, but severe, episodes of illness, injury or trauma. Her scope of practice encompasses disease prevention, diagnosis and management of current and ongoing common or complex health problems in adults both in the hospital and clinic. Stephanie graduated from the University of Florida with her Masters Degree in Nursing and attended undergrad at Adventist Health University in Orlando, Florida. She also has experience in both palliative care and end-of-life care as a Hospice Nurse Practitioner and continues to practice in this field today. When Stephanie is not seeing patients, you can find her by a pool. Since the age of 7, she has been involved in the sport of Synchronized Swimming originally as an athlete but now as a coach and mother of an elite Synchronized Swimmer. She spends many hours on weekends and evenings coaching girls and boys ages 6-18 the art of synchronized swimming. Stephanie has a unique combination of nursing skill and strives to provide the best health care possible. She believes in building a long lasting and trusting relationship with patients and their family. She seeks to acquire a comprehensive evaluation of every patient by taking time to listen and understand their particular needs.
